Toast Media Group is a digital marketing agency based in Brooklyn, New York that works with a wide range of clients — from DTC startups to Fortune 500 companies — to connect their brands to customers in the places where they’re spending time. We take an audience-first approach to develop strategies that work with the digital ecosystem, not against it. Our services include strategy development and/or execution for organic and paid social media, email marketing, brand partnerships, influencers, SEO and more.

Responsibilities:
Work with managing partners to create brand strategy presentations for incoming booked clients that include smart content and design strategy
Develop and refine marketing strategies across existing clients, including always-on and campaign-based initiatives all deeply rooted in audience-first storytelling and data-driven insights
Project manage strategy development and execution of recurring and project-based services for assigned clients
Manage team of brand and creative strategists to bring developed strategies to life
Track marketing channel growth for assigned clients and identify growth opportunities based on historical performance
Work with Toast team to continuously iterate on strategy execution based on incoming data
Lead communication with clients regarding top-level strategy and ongoing projects/initiatives/campaigns in weekly client meetings
Lead communication of project status across clients to team in daily standup meetings
Delegate projects to team members based on skills and expertise
Provide client updates to managing partners, including opportunities for scope expansion, services in jeopardy and general client status
Stay up to date on current marketing trends and tactics
General project assistance when requested by managing partners
Qualifications:
Comfort with client relations: An ideal candidate knows how to interact with clients, present logical and concise ideas and relay updates/feedback to the larger team
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Instinctual data-driven approach to everything you do from content to creative strategy
Ideal candidate has worked in a startup environment and can be scrappy when it comes to testing new ideas or initiatives
Clean, concise and grammatically correct copywriting and general communication skills
Demonstrated understanding of the digital marketing landscape — where it is and where it’s going — and how it impacts clients
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that pivots quickly
Ability to learn new tools and general proficiency with technical aspects of core marketing channels (ex. Instagram shopping, Facebook ads, ESPs, etc)
3+ years client-facing agency experience
