Toast Media Group is looking for a creative and passionate designer to join our digital marketing agency as a Social Media Designer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and producing engaging and strategic platform-first social media graphics and video that align with our clients' marketing goals. The position requires strong creative skills and thinking, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a deep understanding of how visual elements travel across social media platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop social media graphics and videos for platforms including, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and Pinterest.

  • Conceptualize and execute creative ideas that align with our clients' marketing goals.

  • Work with Social Media Editor to plan content calendars that align with brand goals

  • Collaborate with clients’ creative teams to ensure creative is aligned with brand guidelines and upcoming initiatives

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize accordingly.

  • Stay ahead of the curve when it comes to social media trends as they relate to visual formats and content types

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field.

  • 1-4 years of professional experience in graphic design.

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their unique visual requirements.

  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere.

  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • A portfolio that showcases social media graphic design work.

  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and WordPress is a plus.
